BLUES NOTES

CONCERT WITH NARRATION ON THE GREAT MOTHER OF MODERN MUSIC

Concert with narration. A passionate tale of hundred years of the history of music from Africa to the present day with the most famous songs by great artists such as Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, James Brown, Billie Holiday, Chuck Berry , Blues Brothers, Cab Calloway, Etta James, Louis Armstrong, and many others.

Five musicians, two singers and a stage actress. Women's dresses announce a retro debut: we are in Louisiana at the end of the eighteenth century. Africans are landed as perishables on the eastern coasts of America, marking an epochal drama, but at the same time the origin of an imminent cultural revolution. From here begins the tale of the hundred years of modern music, to discover during the evening that Blues is the mother of all modern music genres: jazz, rock, funky to Rythm'n'Blues, dance and Even Pop, that is, all that is listening and dancing today. The narrative thread remembers the great themes of history, revealing the emergence of some musical instruments and the mechanisms through which the modern music world has evolved. At the same time, the Blues itself, as a genre in itself, has continued its existence and has been strengthened by making fortunes and seductioning every generation of music lovers. From Africa to the fields of cotton, from Chicago in the 1930s to post-war Europe, the path is squeezed along with the narration of mild or grandiose sounds in a simplified cultural philological path and full of dramatic, poetic, dramatic stories . Because blues are not just a set of intervals and harmonies, but a look at the world, a way of life. In the concert, there are about twenty songs selected starting from the sounds of the origins to the time of Funky and Boogie, Robert Johnson to Hendrix, Billy Holiday to Modern White Blues by Stivie Ray Voughan, Eric Clapton to Aretha Franklin to To pay tribute to Pink Floyd, born as a Rythm'n'Blues band and become one of the many points of arrival to the new rock revolution, or to parallels with modern artists such as Amy Winehouse, born with blues in to an exasperation that has Determined a premature end.

This is Blues Notes, a mix of music and words, with the sound impact and performance of a guitar-rich concert, stingy saxes, dancing rhythms, united by an evocative narration with changing ambiance that has fun or They move by using the sound or the word alternately through poetry, and causing moods of enveloping, soft, smoky, powerful ...
